Not too safe for kids to play. Have homeless people sleeping around the park. I wouldn’t trust my kids to be there.

We had The Ballers Basketball Tournament in honor of my Son Anthony King yesterday. It was amazing. COACH Will is amazing. The staff member Gina was AMAZING. My family has been apart of Glenwood recreation center since 2005. That's when Anthony began playing basketball. Now my grandson plays basketball with them. Glenwood recreation would not be what it is today if it wouldn't be for Coach Will. He has mentored many young men throughout the years and changed many lives. The event was an success and it will be an annual event from here on out. So if you missed it yesterday don't miss it in the years to come. It's always going to be in October and always around the 8th or on the 8th. If you live in the area or plan on moving to the area Glenwood recreation center is the best place to let your young athletes play basketball or football. The staff and coaches are AMAZING. My son's have always have had the greatest coaches---Coach Will, Coach Bourne, Coach Mike, Coach Leon, Coach Rod and many more. They really care about the kids and they are great mentors for the kids.

Concrete and metal features. Bleachers for observers, but no shade. Overall, the skate park was okay. The playground is nice and has a lot of shade

When we got there the center and the kitchen was dirty. The stove had food all on it, there was dirty dishes piled up in the sink and food and trash in the other side of the sink. There's toys and crayons on the counters and the floor is filthy. We also had to sweep the floor of the center before we could set up the tables. I can't believe they rent out this place without cleaning it.

A good place to go with your kids to find some Recreation they have all kinds of activities that offer after-school programs that have a basketball court a baseball field a play area nice place to go if you just want to play somewhere to hangout safe and secure
